Nationality: British
Favourite spot: Depends where my best session has been recently and the winds the best! 🙂
Best Trick: Changes every time I ride but any thing off a wave is hard to beat like a mega loop or grabbed back to blind.
Board: F14 Pro
Before kiting I was a snowboard instructor and freestyle coach in Canada during the winter seasons, in the summer I taught wakeboarding and sailing among various other sports. I did my kiting instructor course in 2012 then went straight out to KiteKuda in Sri Lanka followed by 40 Knots in Antigua to teach and progress as much as possible – they are the perfect place for it!
Alongside kiting I cross train as much as possible at my local cable, South Coast H2O; this has improved my riding massively. Staying strong and flexible is a priority to avoid injury, knowing that I can push my-self every time I ride brings confidence and progression. I do everything I can to be active from kayaking and surfing to rock climbing and snowboarding as long as I am pushing myself.
In the future I plan to keep pushing my riding and training alongside studying. I hope to hold coaching clinics where I can pass on my knowledge to others both on and off the water.
