I have been riding with the kite since 4 months now. The first session was at the Zandmotor in the Netherlands, the first 10min I did not know what to expect of it as it was a complete different kite that I was used to.
After 10min I got really fast familiar with the kite. After 15min riding through the waves downwind and cruising I decided to take off for a trick. After landing the first trick and coming to the conclusion that the kite has a massive pop, which generates a lot of pressure and dead moment after the edging. The first session I landed all my tricks that I could do on the other kite, which was a pretty good proof to me that the kite was working for me and at that moment I just got hooked to kite.
Right now, 4 months later I cannot wish different aspects in a kite. Ofcourse there is always room for tweaking new aspects on the kite, however I am 100% convinced that we are on the right path!!
FutreKiting kiteboard – F14 Pro
Also I am riding the FUTURE Pro 140cm board. I asked Martin (Future kiteboards developer) to make the board a bit stiffer, what makes it a bit easier to pop harder and higher.
In my opinion this is just a freestyle monster!
The outline is pretty square, which makes it easy to absorb hard landings and get more control in the landings. The tips are getting narrower at the end of the board, what makes the spray in your face less and it find easier its track on the water. The quatriple channels allows me to ride small fins, but let me keep the board maximum under control!
